The environment is the flora (plants, tree and flowers), fauna (animals and wildlife), living and non living things and rocks and soil that resides in a place.
In addition, environment includes the land, water and air that reside in a place.
Environment is everywhere, whether it be local environments like your house and garden, wider environments like our town cities counties and countries or the global environment.
Environments are entangled with each other. What happens on one place can affect another place. For example, if you light a bonfire in your garden, the smoke will become airborne and can travel via the wind to another place.
It therefore follows that human activity is entangled with the environment.
